Kotihandi (operated by Scrubbadad Oy) - Service Provider Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Kotihandi, a marketplace platform operated by Scrubbadad Oy (Business ID: 3097826-1, hereinafter "we", "us", "our"). These Terms and Conditions govern your ("Service Provider") use of the Kotihandi platform.

1. Scope of Services

Kotihandi provides a platform where you can offer your services to customers. Scrubbadad Oy is not a party to the service contract between you and the customer.

2. Independent Contractor Status

You acknowledge that you are an independent contractor and not an employee, agent, or partner of Kotihandi.

3. Registration and Account

You must register an account and provide accurate and complete information.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

4. Service Performance

You agree to perform services professionally, with due skill and care.

You must comply with all applicable laws, including employment, tax, and insurance obligations.

You are required to maintain valid liability insurance.

5. Payments

Customers pay Kotihandi at the time of booking.

Kotihandi automatically generates invoices on your behalf.

Payouts are made automatically once the customer has confirmed completion of the service.

Your agreed rate is inclusive of a 25% service fee, which is added to your hourly rate and displayed to customers.

6. Fees and Deductions

The 25% Kotihandi service fee is included in the customer-facing price.

Fees are automatically deducted before payouts.

7. Job Confirmation and Cancellations

When you accept a job, it has already been prepaid by the customer.

Once a job is accepted, cancellations are only permitted in cases of genuine emergencies.

Unauthorized cancellations may result in penalties or suspension from the platform.

8. Intellectual Property

You grant Kotihandi a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your business name, logo, and service descriptions for platform marketing purposes.

9. Data Protection

You agree to handle customer data in accordance with GDPR and only for the purposes of providing services.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement with notice.

Breach of these terms may result in immediate suspension or termination.

11. Limitation of Liability

Kotihandi is not liable for your services, including any personal injury, property damage, or other loss.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes shall be settled in the District Court of Helsinki, Finland.
