Kotihandi is a platform that connects service providers with customers seeking home services. We make ordering easy and receiving work effortless. New service providers can apply by downloading the K Champ app from the App Store or Play Store and filling in their contact and company information.
We review the application and continue the application process if the entrepreneur meets the requirements.
Entrepreneur's Compensation
The entrepreneur receives compensation based on hours worked. We pay mileage compensation if the work trip exceeds 40 kilometers. In principle, the entrepreneur should have all necessary work tools, such as cleaning equipment and detergents. Compensation for special supplies used is considered on a case-by-case basis.
The entrepreneur can set their own hourly or project rate, but we recommend using market-based pricing to keep the service competitive and attractive to customers.
Kotihandi charges a 25% service fee for the completed work, and the remaining amount is paid directly to the entrepreneur.
How Kotihandi's Payment System Works
Once the service provider is selected, we assist them in creating a Stripe account through which payments are made. The account requires company information and a bank account number.
The customer orders the work through the Kotihandi app designed for customers. They pay for the work in advance, and the money is transferred to the Stripe account. The service fee is deducted from the compensation, but the payment is made to the service provider only after the work is completed and the customer marks it as finished in the app.
Once the work is marked as completed by the customer, the payment process starts immediately. The payment is usually transferred to the service provider's bank account within 5 days.
For accounting purposes, the service provider receives a summary invoice at the end of the month detailing the work done and payments received.
You Can Also Acquire Business Customers
Kotihandi also offers services to businesses, in which case the payment comes directly from Kotihandi, not through the Stripe account. Payment is usually made within seven days of the work's completion date. If it is regular work, such as weekly office cleaning, compensation is usually paid on the 7th of the month.
