What is the cost of goods transport?
The cost of transporting goods depends on the distance, the size or quantity of the items, and the time required. For example, deliveries within Helsinki are usually quick, while a delivery between Vantaa and Helsinki may take longer.
You can easily select the service in the Kotihandi app, enter the transport details, and get an instant price.
Do I need to be present at the pickup or drop-off address?
No, it's enough to provide contact details of the sender or recipient. If you're ordering transport from a store, such as a furniture shop, we need the store name and phone number, along with your order details (e.g., order number, receipt, or confirmation). Make sure payment for the item is arranged beforehand. If the recipient is someone else, we’ll also need their name, phone number, and delivery address.
Is indoor delivery included?
Yes, carrying the item inside is always included. Just remember to mention the floor number and whether there is an elevator, as this may affect the number of carriers needed. The transport service includes a van and a driver who can carry the item inside. If you need a second person to help carry, please choose our furniture transport service.
